This is the steps I plan on taking to acheive my goal of becoming a film director

Create some short films and upload them to youtube. This will help me learn techniques in filmaking.

Create a website to share my films

Take photography GCSE to learn about the camera settings, composition and angles.

Do work experience at the Curzon Cinema to learn about how the cinema and film industry operates

|
Buy a new computer that can run industry standard software such as Premiere pro, Animate, After effects, Audition, ect.

|
Create a social media page to share posts about movies and upcoming movies. If successful, I could get contacts in movie companies and earn money from creator funds

|
|
Volunteer at the Curzon Cinema. This will allow me to watch films often and for free and keep me up to date with new films and able to review and share films on my Social Media page

|
Code a website for Movie Mayhem to share film reviews, videos and promotions
|
|
|
Create a Movie Mayhem instagram and facebook page to repost the tiktok videos to and gain a bigger audience
|

|
Publish my film ideas to my website so that people can view them and share feedback. Maybe they could even be noticed by someone important

|
Animations will cost no money to create.

Enter Intofilm, creative showdown, + any others I may find

Buy a new cheap canon cinema camera to help make films. Buy one with an EF mount so that I can use my EF lenses from my EOS 40D to save money.

Create the Psychopath short film from the field films project list. Make sure to make the film as good as possible so it can be enterred into child film festivals.
